Ask for Alonzo Festive Christmas Menu: Italian Dining Across Hong Kong

Ask for Alonzo embraces Hong Kong's festive season with warmth characteristic of Italian family gatherings, introducing specially crafted Christmas menus across all six locations from 24 November through 31 December 2025. Available at Star Street, Soho, Happy Valley, Tai Hang, Quarry Bay, and the newly opened Sha Tin venue, the festive offerings balance seasonal tradition with the trattoria's established Italian character.

The approach creates space for both Christmas classics and beloved signatures. Rather than abandoning familiar favourites, Ask for Alonzo allows guests to honour seasonal expectations whilst staying true to their preferences, whether choosing Roasted Turkey Breast or remaining loyal to Spaghetti Carbonara.

Festive Lunch: Midday Celebrations

The three-course festive lunch menu serves Monday to Friday from 11:30 to 17:00, priced at HK$168 and designed particularly for corporate teams seeking meaningful year-end gatherings. Starters include Christmas Soup, Salad of the Day, Selection of Italian Cold Cuts & Cheese, and Tapenade Bruschetta with black olives and sun-dried tomatoes. Guests seeking richer beginnings can add Burrata Cheese for HK$58 or Beef Tonnato for HK$48.

Main courses present remarkable flexibility through seven options. Signature pasta dishes including Rigatoni Amatriciana and Spaghetti Carbonara maintain their places alongside Octopus Risotto with lobster bisque, shallots, and parsley. The Mushroom Risotto answers vegetarian needs with portobello mushrooms, truffle oil, and rocket, whilst Sea Bream delivers lighter protein through potatoes, salsa verde, olives, and pine nuts. For full festive spirit, Roasted Turkey Breast arrives with carrots, Brussels sprouts, mashed potato, pork stuffing, and veal jus, whilst Braised Beef Cheek offers alternative richness. Dessert centres on Alonzo's Signature Tiramisu, with optional beverage upgrades available.

Festive Dinner: Evening Gatherings

Evening service runs seven days weekly from 17:00 to 22:00, with the three-course dinner menu priced at HK$358. Dinner starters mirror lunch offerings with the notable addition of Roman Meatballs prepared with tomato sauce and Parmesan shavings. Premium additions adjust to HK$18 for Burrata Cheese and HK$28 for Beef Tonnato, whilst main courses expand possibilities through supplements including Octopus Risotto and Braised Beef Cheek at HK$48 each. Desserts gain additional depth through Espresso Panna Cotta joining the Signature Tiramisu, both available for HK$28.

Each location maintains distinctive neighbourhood character whilst delivering consistent quality. The Star Street venue in Wan Chai offers proximity to the financial district with charming intimacy, perfect for office teams. Soho's Bridges Street location near PMQ draws creative energy with appealing outdoor seating. Happy Valley's larger space accommodates bigger groups with street-level energy, whilst Tai Hang brings tight-knit community feeling beloved by young families. Quarry Bay serves office workers and residents with equal dedication, and the newly opened Sha Tin venue extends festive offerings into the New Territories.

Group gatherings receive dedicated attention through reservations@askforalonzo.com, where the team handles dietary requirements, timing coordination, and special requests. The Monday to Friday lunch schedule excludes public holidays, whilst evening service maintains seven-day availability from 24 November through New Year's Eve. Menu pricing includes 10% service charge.
