À Poêle French Bistro embraces Hong Kong's festive season with specially crafted French menus available from 24 November through 31 December 2025. The Quarry Bay venue brings authentic French bistro traditions to life through lunch and dinner celebrations, with special menus for Christmas Eve & Day and New Year's Eve designed for memorable gatherings.

The approach honours French festive dining culture, where celebration centres on classic bistro preparations, premium ingredients, and convivial atmosphere. Rather than abandoning beloved signatures, À Poêle enhances its menu with seasonal specials whilst maintaining the bistro traditions that built its neighbourhood following.

Festive Lunch: French Midday Tradition

The two-course festive lunch serves Monday to Friday from 11:30 to 17:00, priced at HK$158 and structured around classic French bistro progression. Starters present seven options spanning Christmas Soup, Daily Salad, Selection of French Charcuterie with Bayonne ham, cooked ham, and Jesus sausage, and Stuffed Eggs with mayo, truffle, and chive. French Onion Soup with gruyere cheese and chive arrives at a HK$48 supplement, whilst Crab Blinis with pomegranate and crème fraîche, and Shrimp Cocktail with lettuce and cocktail sauce at HK$48 provide premium openings.

Main courses embrace French bistro cooking through seven substantial options. Roasted Turkey Breast arrives with mushroom stuffing, mashed potato, Brussels sprouts, carrot, and veal jus for full festive celebration. Leg of Lamb Ballotine with rosemary mashed potato, pea puree, and carrot carries a HK$58 supplement, whilst Pumpkin Risotto with feta cheese, pumpkin seed, and sage answers vegetarian needs. Broiled Seabream with clams, tomato, butter sauce, and herbs delivers lighter protein, and Beetroot Salad with fennel, cherry tomato, goat cheese, and honey dressing provides substantial vegetarian choice. The 200g Steak Frites with fries and garlic butter at HK$58 and Beef Cheek Pappardelle with roasted peppers, kale, rosemary, and parmesan complete the selection. Desserts include Dessert of the Day or Chocolate Brownie at HK$28, with beverage upgrades including Americano, Espresso, Hot Tea, or Iced Tea at HK$8. Festive Dinner: Evening Bistro Celebration

The three-course festive dinner serves daily from 17:00 to 22:00, priced at HK$338 throughout the festive period, with special enhancements for Christmas Day (24th and 25th December) and New Year's Eve (31st December). Premium seafood options establish celebratory tone, with Plateaux de fruits de mer featuring brown crab, king shrimps, whelks, oysters, crudo, mignonette sauce, and cocktail sauce available for 2 guests at HK$598 or 4 guests at HK$998. French Oysters arrive at 3pcs for HK$128, 6pcs for HK$248, or 8pcs for HK$248.

Starters mirror lunch offerings with additions including Beef Tartare with grilled bread at HK$28, Foie Gras Terrine with chutney and grilled bread at HK$58, and Escargot (6pcs) with garlic butter and grilled baguette at HK$18. Main courses expand possibilities through premium supplements and bistro classics. The Christmas Day menu features Surf and Turf at HK$148 with half Boston lobster, grilled striploin, garlic butter, and garlic spinach. Additional mains include Steamed Mussels with white wine, butter, parsley, and grilled bread or French fries, Roast Chicken with sherry jus and French beans (20-25mins), Duck Confit with puy lentils and mash potatoes, and Caesar Salad with chicken, anchovy dressing, croutons, and parmesan.

Desserts present Crème Brûlée or Chocolate Mousse, with add-on sides at HK$48 including French Fries with truffle mayo, Mashed Potato with lemon and parsley, or All Green Salad with cucumber and green beans. Menu pricing includes 10% service charge.

The festive menu runs continuously from 24 November through New Year's Eve. The Christmas Eve & Day menu (24th and 25th December) and New Year's Eve menu (31st December) feature festive offerings at HK$338, providing fantastic celebration options throughout the festive period.
